The storm may have been nearly five months ago and all the debris is cleaned up, but Fort Bend County and it’s consulting partners are still working at tying up loose ends after Hurricane Ike.

It has been just under five months since Hurricane Ike barreled through the Baytown area, inundating the Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Center with over 13 feet of water and destroying hundreds of thousands of dollars in exhibits and equipment used to teach students about local wildlife in the area.
